Everybody's looking for that something..

What Iskandar taught me..

We need to have the heart to do things, or we will never achieve it.

Like when i broke down as i was emotionally down and mentally unprepared for the sea expedition, he taught me that i shouldnt deal things with my emotions, but with my mind, and gave me the freedom to choose my solution which he followed.

Like the story of the COOK..
Once there was a cook. The first meal he cooked was unpleasant, so does it defined him as a bad cook? (NO RIGHT) So let say that if his subsequent meals are nice, so what will you say (HE'S NOT BAD RIGHT)..unless if they are bad, than he will be a bad cook.

MORALE- we cannot always judge things from the first encounter, like the OBS sea expedition. Even though day1 was a total disaster, that does not mean it will be the same for the rest of the days. If we are going to judge it that why, we will be discounting the experience, discounting ourselves, as we never give the situation a chance to be made a good one.

Like he bothered to collect our wet trackpants and help us wash and dry it so that we can wear for high elements the next days..

Like when 901 was late for 47mins of PT, the punishment was that to waste 47mins of our time, he hoped that we are not angry with him..

The point i want to bring is that, where can you find such passionate instructors who care about the well-being of their participants. Passion drives people, which is the most important thing we have to have in life. Without this so called PASSION, we are not able to achieve the same result as someone who have placed their heart and soul in it.

Even though OBS is only 9 days, my instructor have made a significant impact as i carry out doing the duties in my life.

I thank God for letting me know him. Seriously, it really seemed like God has blessed me.

Now knowing the word passion, this few days when i do things that seemed unplesant to me, i'll try to put my heart into it and do it well, do it with pride.

Passion, its the word that drives!!
